The Prest family has been established in the Northallerton area for more than 350 years and various members of the family have run businesses here since the mid 19th century.
Our business was started in 1926 by W.L. Prest, Snr, from his house in Upwell Road, Northallerton, under the name of W.L.Prest & Son.
Originally, the business was run by Mr. Prest along with his wife who provided all the secretarial services.
Apart from House Sales and Lettings, our many varied clients have included:

The part-time secretary of Northallerton

Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages

The business is built upon the excellent family name and reputation that has been built over the past 83 years in this area.
It is now flourishing with John's son Mark, who is now a partner who is actively involved in planning for its future growth and success.
